Art by D.Billy

Bushwick, my former neighborhood in Brooklyn was a lot of fun. For a long time it was one of New York’s poorest neighborhoods (it still is actually). During the time that I lived there it became hot-spot for poor artists who could no longer afford to live in neighboring Williamsburg.

There was a lot of creativity in the atmosphere, which can be seen in artist galleries and communities like Beta Spaces and 3rd Ward.

One of the artists making noise in the “hood” is a Mr. David William, also known as D.Billy. I have not yet been so lucky as to witness any of his art in person but I am impressed with what I have seen and heard.
