Coming from the 215 is Explicit Ills, written by Mark Webber, shot and set in the lovely city of brotherly love. My curiosity in this film has been piqued with an opening shot of a Girard St. trolley, brought back to for our east to west travels through North Philly. The film carries a bold cast with Tariq Trotter aka Black Thought from the Roots and Rosario Dawson. Boasting four interconnecting story lines from drugs, poverty and love, the films brings all walks of life together in their fight for justice and self discovery.
