Founded in 2008, Whats.ReallyHood.com chronicles music and culture through the eyes of its contributors. Spanning both coasts, the content focuses on music, art and events in Boston and Los Angeles. Taken from their experiences, the writers offer snapshots from the active subcultures of each of the respective cities and their music and art scenes.

Erin brings it from the 215, which is why she’s 80% black. She absorbed her formal education from the Temple of University, giving her words credibility and clout. She generally knows more about things than you do. Her interests include pleasuring her palette, urban thrashing on her bike, global stomping and tickling her ears with independent music. You best be taking notes on her opinions and criticisms, as it will get you far in life.

Victoria hails from the dry desert of Tucson, Arizona where she was raised by Abercrombie models and survived on music and fashion inspirations from the likes of Courtney Love, Wayne Campbell and Cru Jones. Hip to the streets of T-town, this wild child has been in tune with the skate/street scene since the first grunge trend emerged in the mid 90’s. A bandit and a renegade, Victoria cleaned up her act before entering her second decade of life to become a vivacious broad educated in classical music, the Italian tongue (you can take that both ways if you are inclined), and the unbiased and completely factual worlds of mass media and journalism.
Currently Victoria resides in the Western portion of Hollywood, California…a place where she can fine-tune her love of trendy music, hip fashion movements and her constant observations and insights into the mindless douches that inhabit this slightly queer burrough of Los Angeles. You can find her sipping whiskey in a photobooth of an East side bar any night of the week.

Andy is Canadian. He grew up in Montreal before his family made the dangerous pass through Adirondack mountains in search of a better life in America. While ducking and dodging the INS, Andy bounced around between several states. He currently resides in the “Polish Triangle” of Dorchester, MA.
When he’s not working his day job at a hi-tech PR agency, Andy likes to collect records, DJ parties, look fresh, impress ladies with his rap nerdery, and help put on the larget hip hop festival in the southeast. He’s generally considered to be the “looks” of Whats.ReallyHood.
